Portland is known worldwide as a city at the forefront of urban planning, but how did the city become known for its progressive policy and what are its current initiatives? Join us for a walking and public transit tour to meet with city experts and take in some of the Portland’s notable urban design sites. Guests include: Alisa Kane (Green Building and Development Manager for the City of Portland, Bureau of Planning & Sustainability), Rachael Duke (Manager of Operation and Partnerships, Bud Clark Commons) and Nicolas Starin (City Planner on the Central City Team and Historic Resources Program, Bureau of Planning & Sustainability).
