A big heartfelt thanks goes out to all who generously contributed to our Kickstarter campaign for Know Your City: Portland’s Social History App. The free phone app and website will provide a guided tour of Portland history through audio interviews, art, photos and text. With your help, we’re reached 70% of our goal — and are less than $900 shy of being funded!
To get us over the funding hump, we’re offering a new level of support: chip in $30 and get a jar of artisan made pickles from restaurants such as DOC, Grain & Gristle and Biwa, plus an invite to the launch event. This offer is for locals only (you must pick up from our office downtown). Get in on this deal while it lasts — we’re only offering 15 of these!
In case you’re not familiar with Kickstarter, we only get the money if we reach our goal. If we don’t reach out goal by June 30th, we receive none of the money pledged. In the event we exceed our goal, all funding will go towards compensating our guest speakers and increasing the number of locations we include in the program.
