DPC is currently recruiting new members to serve on a Program Committee to help organize its annual lecture series and summer flagship tours. Duties of the Programming Committee include: selecting speakers and topics, program coordination, help publicizing events, logistics and more. Group will meet once a month, with regular e-mail correspondence.
The Programming Committee will begin work on the organization’s 2013 Lecture Series, with the broad theme of Art & Equity. Through the lecture series, the program aims to:
- Highlight the work of artists, activists and community members who address issues of equity, multiculturalism and accessibility to all
- Create meaningful dialogue between speakers and the audience on challenging issues
- Inform decision-making being discussed by arts and cultural organizations around the city and state
Serving on the Programming Committee is a benefit of membership. If you are not a dues-paying member, join here. Membership starts at just $50/ a year, and helps support our programs.
If you are interested, e-mail marc@dillpickleclub.org by July 16. Participants will be notified by e-mail as to meeting logistics, an agenda and other details.
