Know Your City is delighted to partner with AARP Oregon to offer a new tour about the history of Portland’s Waterfront. We’ll be walking along the Vera Katz Waterfront Esplanade, so come prepared to enjoy a walk along the Willamette River, looping between the Hawthorne and Steel Bridges, learning about Portland’s waterfront history.
This partnership is special in many ways: we’re thrilled to bring the early beginnings of Portland history to a new audience, and we’re also pleased to be involved in NeighborWalks, an AARP Health & Well Being event.
Hope we can see you Saturday, October 24th at 10am. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water!
