Our programs and publications are made possible only by the dedication of members and volunteers. There are several ways to participate in shaping our programs.
The Program Committee is a working group of diverse individuals who give shape to Know Your City’s 4 programs: lectures, tours, publications and youth programs. The committee’s purpose is to:
Be a sounding board for new ideas and proposals (does programming fit with KYC’s mission and core values?)
Develop new ideas for KYC programs
Assist and support KYC staff in helping coordinate programs as needed
Assist with grant editing and providing feedback as needed
For more on the Program Committee, visit the Who We Are page.
Collate publications, distribute posters in the community, make phone calls, filing, data entry etc.
Photograph and videotape events for archival purposes (experience in audio/ visual documentation preferred but not necessary).
KYC offers internships on occasion. Check back for postings as they become available.
Volunteer for the above opportunities by filling out the form below. We will contact all volunteers within two weeks.
